May have to mingle this morn, As it's time to see all the crowds. Been stuck in a rut at home, Gotta get my gears greased. No complaints about being lazy, Just gets lonesome at times. You gotta have people in your life, Cause your dead a very long time. You don't have to know them, Just rubbing elbows is enough. You become part of life's flow. Until you meet someone you know.

I talk to neighbors sometimes, and try to be at least courteous to others I meet along the way of life...most people I like though there are some that are jerks & I want nothing to do with them...but life goes on, you know that quite well...good write, -e-

So true! I meet some of the most interesting people when I do my beach walks and nearly always walk away having learned something new.

A very profound write, King George.
Just having human contact, at all, can actually be enough, until you come into contact with someone you truly know and can engage in dialogue with.

I really get it .. my stroke did it to me, and it's sometimes a hard rut to get out of - thank GOD for the special people he places in our lives! And for our AD Family!
Excellent write!

But it can be so lonely in a crowd. One needs more than "rubbing elbows" to survive in this world. Like you said, we are dead a long time. Time to get busy living while there still is time.
