One cannot live in the past.

It is fine to have good memories

But they should be just that.

Life is for the living

And sharing what is today.

Yesterday is gone.

Live in the moment

There are so few

And gone so fast.

Memories last forever.

But the now is what makes them

And is what we should think about.

You are a man of the moment and I like that. No worries about that past, only fond memories and thoughts about the memories you are about to make.

I like that in your poem about it.

I agree 100% ! It's nice to think back sometimes but we cannot afford to become "stuck" there.

Love ya!

I have my memories, at least what I remember.

Some memories are quite clear,
others are lost in the fog of time.
If i go back to far,
those memories aren't worth a dime.

Couldn't agree more, George. Still, when you get a certain age memories mean more to you than ever before.
