O let the thoughts escape me not

Nor mingle with the night.

For day has come and night has left,

Leaving a poor soul out of sight.

Let the daylight renew my quest,

That in darkness I had sought.

For what have I in life to give

That can't in daylight be bought?

I sought the highways long and narrow

And left a dusty trail behind.

For in my eagerness to follow,

I lost what I had tried to find.

Truly, it is that a man may gain by losing, and yet may lose by gaining. . .
He who fusses over anything spoils it; he who holds anything tightly loses it.
When wanting a thing to be gained, first be ready to lose it. Cheers, alex

We all feel lost at times, George, I am at that state of mind presently.

Questions, unquestioned discoveries, and answers in parable and rhyme…. This collection records a journey starting with a 1960s retrospective and the first man on the moon, moving to a new millennium welcomed in with a terrorist spin, family crises,
