The light bulb of life

When invented.

Was not meant

To blind the user.

Just to Illume the user

That he may not fall in the pit.

They had no flashlights

Way back then,  yet survived.

They had no weapons

Of destruction, yet survived.

Progress has taught us how

To kill in the millions, not just yet.
