We humans are the only animals on the planet that value life with our strange beliefs. All other animals live in a food chain (we are in that chain, but do not believe we are) that generally means that most deaths are harvested for food.
I'm with Jonathan Swift. Since we have entirely too many babies, we should harvest the excess for food. We eat veal, don't we? ;-)

Very powerfully said. Political gambling has become the driving force for many "Life" decisions. The cost: human lives at every age. The womb has seen the tides of genocide far surpassing anything the world has ever seen.

I think it is grotesque, and like you say, politics are involved. I am not against abortion, but they are becoming very mercenary about the "body parts," and that sickens me.
