Putting a foot in your mouth Should be an obvious happening. Extracting the foot is harder, Since the harm is already done. Would that the wise teach us To not talk needlessly, To know when your mouth is open, Is when wisdom finally dawns on us.

it's often wise to say nothing, but that�s not yet wisdom. The latter lies somewhere in the mid of the distance between what is in your heart and on the tip of your tongue, which is the heart�s external organ, according to TCM (traditional Chinese medicine). It comes to be that one�s wisdom is a physiological product; and it has sense. Cheers, alex
