Humming an old tune I've heard, As I lay content in bed. The lyrics are so true As they affect me and you. I realize all is not well As the words meaning Enters my conscious mind, And I understand I've been hoaxed. I guess I'm just stupid For not seeing this sooner. It was there all along, But I let myself get hoodwinked.
