Pausing to let my thoughts

Escape my anxious mind.

They at times pursue me,

Though I hold them not back.

Selection is the process

That a poet must possess.

Not that he is any clever-

No, he knows his failings well.

Yes, some thoughts we can discard.

We must never be mired in hate,

But look at this as part of life

That does no good dwelling upon.

So wise and so humble! I agree, hatred is a useless thing that would occupy our minds if we allow it. One does not need to think he/she is better than the others because each one of us takes into a friendship with experience learned from our own lives, like others. To hate others just because we think we are better is a useless thing, we never ceased to learn in life. There is always something others know that we don't know.

Hating someone is like letting them run around rent free in your mind. You only hurt yourself. Good one, George!

Love ya!

Omega Factor by John Henning

Take some time to walk outside of your own mind and into another, walk slowly and carefully; the mind that you step on might be your own.
