Writing finds interest in those that it helps realize clearly what they have ignored or haven't imagined. Sometimes it hurts the writer and sometimes the reader. Writing would not be of interest if it had no effect. Of course we all like eye openers to have positive outcomes but like the weather the consequences can be unpredictable. Your poem is very honest.
