Salvaging a thought

From many forgotten.

Letting it see light of day,

As morning progresses.

 

It was in this moment

I saw your beautiful

Smile that captivated

This old heart of mine.

 

The flame was still there.

It needed but to hear a

Whisper from your lips,

And I would fall all over again.

Just don't let your lip hit your kneecap on the way down. ;-) I never could understand why they called it, "falling," in love.
