I'm pretty much with you, George. My days are filled with pain also, the arthritis kind. If you don't want to "down a brew or two," try my remedy with cheap California burgundy.
I am so sorry that you are in pain.All I can say is as probably know- Jesus is walking with you as you carry that cross and knows without you even saying a word the physical and emotional pain you feel. Please know even though I have never really met you I see your incredible holiness.
