Always tried to get a date With a good looking gal. Disappointments I experienced, As some lacked charm. Others just dropped me, Never asked for a reason. In my mind it was mutual, No sparks ever flew. Some women are liked that. They have all the looks But when you got to know them, There was something missing.

Most of the time people look only on the outside of a person and do not give themselves time to get to know the person inside

"Beauty is only skin deep," of course. Perhaps men should look behind the makeup and date only the girls who have pure and lovely hearts. It sounds like you were one of the wiser wise guys!
