I saw the distant clock,
Yet the time I could not see.
There, above all else, stood
Time to me, with no hands.
Oh let the sweeping second hand,
Make its rounds, as it must do.
The clock may make a ticking sound,
But that is silent to me, as is all else.
Love ya!
