I'm not sure you could define death as an end. Merely the next stage in the exploration of eternity. For all we know there may be more problems and/or joys in store. We all get our turn, so I'm sure we'll find out. I enjoyed this George. Bob

The last line puzzled me. You could be saying that "it will all end" meaning that you will die so that it will end for you. You could be saying that the sun will devour the earth in approximately 4 billion years. Or, you could be repeating the biblical prophecy of Armageddon, the Rapture, or some other apocalyptic thoughts.

I simply don't know. I do know that as we age our problems increase and the mountain of issues we have to resolve seems to get larger. Such is life.

Although we know how our story will end, we don't know "when" and that is the charm or crux of life. I choose to persevere, taking my chances with triumphing, no matter how small the victory.

Eh . . . I have climbed many a mountain, George, and I have allowed a few off them to defeat me . . . It all depends on how many stones we have at the time.

What's it going to matter a hundred years from now? That's what my daughter tells me. Little smart ass! I love her!!!!
