A bit of a painter, at times,

When brush gets in my hand.

I seem to make the present

Come alive with each stroke.

I add the colors that please me,

And add distinction to the subject

Which has my attention in my mind

And on canvass looks back at me.

Life must reflect art in each stroke,

As it is the artist that sees it.

Choosing the right colors, a must

Or the artist will miss life as he sees it.

"........as he sees it." I like this. It sounds as if you have fallen into the category of "Impressionistic artists" like Monet and Rembrandt. Good going!

Love ya!
