I Married Her

She was the best looking gal on the block.

 Every guy wanted to date her.

But she had her pick of the lot.

 

One day she called me over

And wondered why I did not ask her out.

You have too many already, I said.

 

Don't let that stop you,

I'll pick you if you ask.

Ahead of all the others

I'll place you, and we can date.
