Where do lost moments go?

I've asked myself ths question.

Are they really lost or not?

Hard to imagine they are gone.

 

Yet while we can't remember,

There seems to be an answer

For this dilemma as time ticks bye.

What it is will remain my secret.

My whole life depends on my keeping secrets that people tell me. Sometimes their lives depend on it too.

A secret shared is no longer a secret. Perhaps holding onto it is part of the answer.
