Settled in a complex thought

Before the day begins.

Barely able to wake up

From a good nights sleep.

The labor of this thought

Has brought me to the brink.

Never has a morning

Broken so heavily on my head.

Nevertheless we must go on.

Can't let a loose thought

Spoil what could be a nice day.

I shall challenge it and be done.

I really hate those complex thoughts, because they seem so simple while dreaming--or not--when they remain unresolved. Upon waking, when I tried to employ them, I find that often I can't. Like you have written, they are just too complex.

I have so many thoughts running through my head just when I am awakining sometimes. Usually the distractions of getting on with the new day after just getting up drowns out most of the stuff I was thinking about. That is probably a good thing or we would all go nuts trying to handle it all.

Visions of A Skylark Dressed in Black by Aberjhani

“The woman or man who is a poet, or fiction writer, or playwright, or all of these, is engaged constantly in a jazz ballet of vocabularies, passions, genders, histories, perspectives, death, love, and life. The music of revelation announces itself to

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
