On this one I think to disagree. Some folks do change their core values. That may occur when something very tragic happens and they realize that what they believed in all along, just wasn't true.
Ahhh . . . But we do change, George. Life pretty much changes us. Physically, at least. But through it all, if we are the same person and believing the same, the changes can be a good thing, just nature rearranging what people see each day. But to be unchanged within your core beliefs, it matters not how many times life changes our outward body.
