Lost Is Lost

In the rush of thoughts,

I've lost so many.

Always the best ones

Seem to get away.

 

An idea that vanishes,

As if it were a dream.

Finding another,

But hard to replace the lost.

 

Hard luck stories,

Are not my cup of tea.

What's done is done,

And lost is lost.
