I bent down to clip a few daisies
And add them to my breakfast table.
It reminds me how the seasons change,
And beauty is an offering I can't pass up.
One thing I know, as seasons change,
I am one year older and have fewer
Steps to my final journey, which death brings,
And for which there will be no end.
Yet the road map has been laid before us,
So that the transition from death to life
Will be as welcome as the beauty Spring brings,
And the reward promised, will be deserved.
Love ya!
