Words escape me at times. When I need a special word To give meaning to a poem, I can think of none. Let it sit for awhile. Tomorrow will find the missing word. Oft times it is just a simple word That has a few meanings. The reader may pass it by And not look for the full impact. A second meaning in a dictionary Can add mystery to what you wrote.

The English language is so diluted and polluted that words are gaining new meanings all the time, depending upon what crowd one travels in. You are saying here that you sometimes can't think of a word you want to say. It's happening more and more to me as well.

And, if the reader misunderstands your words or mine, it's perhaps no matter. More than one conclusion can come from a poetic expression.
