When we feel sad

And down in the dumps.

It's not the time to show it,

Put a smile on your mug.

So many of us have problems,

Which we try to hide.

Writing is an escape for some,

While a broad smile is one for others.

Nevertheless don't let it get to you.

And please don't take it out on others.

Just write a cheerful sonnet,

And you'll be surprised how anger calms down.

I must agree with Daniel on this one. There are days when I can fool others but not myself. Thank God those days are few.

Love ya!

George, great advice but very difficult to do sometimes due to various reasons, sometimes unknownst to me. Usually after having a down day myself, I wake up the next day in a totally different frame of mind wondering why I was depressed the day before and say to myself " what the heck was that all about yesterday."
I am just glad I don't stay in that mood when it does hit. Maybe it is all a part of balancing life out.
Dan
