Never thought I would write
Poetry, when I was growing up.
It was just for sissies,
That was the scuttle-butt.
Now over 3000 poems
Later, I guess I was wrong.
Seems like a lot of writing,
After you add them up.
Started writing when I
Turned 80 and now am 92,
Twelve years of daily poems,
Have gone by the boards.
