I heard the voice of Spring
As it whispered through the trees.
Life once again springs forth,
Escaping Winters  freeze.

The birds return home
And start to build their nests.
New life is in the offing,
As  mother nature does her thing.

There seems to be always a change
From one year to the next.
Though flowers still bloom
And their scent perfumes the air.

Life seems more abundant,
As I reflect on what I see.
The seeds of new life are carried
And adds more beauty than was there.
