Sprinkle a little sunshine,

Chase away the clouds.

There is room for laughter,

You can feel it in the crowds.

Get your hot dogs and a soda,

You can hear the barkers yell.

What's a ball game without a hot dog,

And a cold drink makes it jell.

Just another day at the ball park,

As our team keeps hitting well.

There yet may be another pennant,

And a world series, would make it swell.

Yes, but the wurst part is, those hot dogs are doggone bad for us. Other than that, a ball game is innocent fun. I think. Any how, you made this one fun.

I sensed a little bit of, "Casey at the Bat," in the cadence and subject of the poem you just created from fond memory.

George, now you are talking my lingo. Played a little ball myself, should have never given it up. Happiest time of my life traveling around playing ball in my youth in north Arkansas and south Missouri towns in semi-pro league. Everything I owned fit in my '63 ford galaxy 500 car, most of it baseballs, gloves and bats. Quit to take a good job and join the real world, uggh!! Guess we all make mistakes.
Big Texas Ranger fan now. Got to keep that Rougned Odor from whopping other guys on the jaw like he did to Bautista with the Blue Jars.

Fantastic!! I love this poem!!! My father was an avid baseball fan and would have me take the kids out of school so I could drive him to a game in Cleveland. Hey, we all got to see a game and my kids had excellent attendance. 'Loved the double headers!!!

Love ya!
