Maybe in the morrow I will find the missing link. Search as I may today, The chain remains broken. How has it happened? Who undid my life span? I but a poor fool left dying, And yet I still live. Puzzels remain to be solved. What perpertrator lives, Whilst I lay dying in the sand? It is not for me to know.

I sense some personal history in this. The others are commenting on something else. Is there a period of time you can't remember because it was so horrendous? I'm curious to find out.
