Life Sucks

I cannot say with any conviction

That life realy sucks.

Seen the best and worst of times,

Still around by some luck.

 

Life is what you make it,

So make it something grand.

Dwelling on the sour notes

Is silly, wnen life is in your hands.

 

Look at that guy laughing,

I'm sure he has seen the worst.

Not many of us escape it,

And how lucky are the few who do.

When life made it impossible for me to pick up the glass and drink, needing to drink every day to avoid dehydration, I put a straw in the glass and suck. So, sucking is life-giving for me. And then of course there are the other little things that come along to make life a bitch. I just turn her into a beautiful woman.

I do wish I escaped it, the worst of life that is, but I doubt anyone ever does, but I guess its how its handled by the particular person...-e-

Laughter and humour are just the best assets to have in almost
any situation...
My husband was in a hospice for seven weeks before he died, and I had never heard so much laughter...from staff and patients...it helped so much...
Yes...life is definitely what you make it...
