The English girls were charming,
And made us feel right at home.
Only had a few hours to spend,
Before I was off to the war.
Soon the war was somewhere else,
As my attention was diverted by a smile.
Soon I knew the delights of her hospitality,
And no more wanted to roam.
She knew how to please a man,
And held nothing back.
Morning awakened us
And it was back to war for me.
The English Charm a delight for a
few hours respite. Memories abound.
