I don't have a rebellious nature,

An order is an order

And the command must stand.

When lives are on the line,

Swift action must be taken.

There is no time for second guessing.

Life is made up of choices.

Some we are prepared for,

And others rely on our common sense.

If that order comes from a woman, obey it! Military is very good at ordering soldiers to face death while the generals sit safely behind the lines and see if their strategies/tactics succeeded. Common sense often is wrong because it goes along with the crowd.

Visions of A Skylark Dressed in Black by Aberjhani
