I told her in a nice way That our romance was through. It didn't seem to register But in my heart she knew. It was not something sudden, As it had been perking for some time. I felt now was the time to end it, I've prolonged it long enough. There is no easy way To end a long romance. Too many real love moments Were wrapped inside each kiss.

I prefer much more the fadeaway rather than the sudden jolt. Sometimes blind love makes people clueless so they need to be shocked out of their dream world by a blunt ending.
