The scavenger must search
In order to make a living.
It matters not his findings,
As long as they are edible.
His tastes are no concern,
As he enjoys what's in his mouth,
He will never starve as there is plenty
Just thrown away by those who eat.
We are wise, who do not waste
The food placed before us.
A little hunger at times will surfice
To remind us of those who have nothing.
Love ya!
