The parity of thought Is not in its conclusions. Oft times we miss the point With life and its infusions. Clever as the seeking mind is, It has to take a back seat. New thought is what we crave And not the old to repeat. Spare my lingering thoughts The burden of repitition. Nothing is more tiring Than inept considerations.

After writing so many poems, I can see why it would become unavoidable not to come back to the same subjects. I write only one poem a week, but once in a while find myself writing again a poem that I wrote years ago and had forgotten.
