There she stood

Mingling with the crowd.

I had to ask a friend

Who she was,

He gave me her name

And said she used to live here.

Her parents moved several blocks away

But she comes back to see her friends.

One day she was talking to a girl I knew.

After she left I spoke to her friend,

I said I would like to meet her,

Could she introduce her to me.

Days past and the moment came.

I was called over by my friend

And she introduced the girl to me.

Needless to say, I later married her.
