Oh those tomorrows that I find,

Lurking in a tired mind.

They bring back memories

Lost, when I was blind.

I could not see the winks

Or the come hitter looks I got.

Just too busy with thoughts, I think.

Oh those lost tomorrows, my lot.

Can one look back and capture

What was lost, oh no, it can't be done.

For the moment has passed me bye,

And those looks someone else has won.

"Can one look back and capture what was lost?" The answer is probably yes and no, a superficial yes and a deeper no. After what is tomorrow but a pack full of yesterdays. Enjoyed. John

GEORGE , that come hither done gone yonder, but I'll admit to a few sad Good bye's that I should have read differently. Thanks for the memories.

Our lives could have gone in many different directions with the "come hither looks" we may have followed. Enjoyed!

Love ya!

You made me think of one "come hither" that I got in high school and shed thinking I could find better. Had I heeded that come on, my whole I probably would have been much different.

Beside Still Waters by Jill Eisnaugle

Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
