GOD IS A SPIRIT, HE IS ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE BEGINNING AND THE END. GOD ALWAYS WAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE. WE ARE MADE OF DIRT(BODY)AND SPIRIT(LIFE). THOUGH THE BODY(BECAUSE OF THE SIN OF OUR FOREFATHERS)WILL INEVITABLY DIE THE SPIRIT WILL LIVE ON FOREVER. SPIRIT IS THE 'LIFE' THAT GOD BREATHED INTO US WHEN HE CREATED US...IT CANNOT DIE JUST AS GOD CANNOT DIE. AND FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN THE REWARD OF EVERLASTING LIFE(THROUGH THE ATONING BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST)OUR SPIRITS WILL LIVE ON 'UNENDING' IN THE PRESENCE OF OUR 'UNENDING' GOD IN A NEW HEAVEN AND EARTH THAT WILL BE FREE FROM THE TAINT OF SIN COMPLETELY. I believe death is part of life and is not really the final answer. God doesn't make junk so I believe part of us lives on forever as in "everlasting life". Cool write!

While I have great admiration for scientific descriptions of great time lapses, I too, like in your poem, realize the very short time we have to think and write before we die. It seems rather pointless to me to wish for "eternity," when we don't even so what it is.
