The Morrow

Caught in the undertow

Of life's gambits each day.

Lost are the feelings

That glistened a new day.

 

Left in the underbelly,

Where food is never digested.

There are times I think

I could not even get arrested.

 

But as the day unfolds

And life's happenings are fed.

I can look at the morrow

And not worry instead.
