Seldom do I gripe

About the troubles

I've endured.

It is of little use,

Nor are my words enough

To placate them.

Let a prayer I utter,

Not fall on deaf ears,

Or I shall in pain, suffer more.

Your poems don't gripe. They don't groan. They don't even moan. No bitching in them do I hear. Only good thoughts every day throughout the year.

I could say that I feel your pain, but that would be a lie. We all have our own special problems as time goes by.

Prayer or no prayer, we still suffer. It's attitude that counts and matters, Now how did that old song go, It's my party and I'll cry if I want to.

This one is a precious desire for understanding and relief from the hardships of life - I find that I hope someone hears me also. Good luck in life George.
