The seams of thought
Seem to be loosening.
Left for me to gather
What is trying to escape.
In this wonderland of ours,
Where even stray thoughts
Have their say, with no answer.
We march to the drummers beat.
Such is the waning life
Of the elderly to bear.
Consider the vibrant times,
When words meant so much more.
Love ya!
