I've lived a long life, So they tell me. Fought in a great war That was never the end. I know what fear is, It was a companion of mine. It kept you alert or you died. Such was a day at war. To know peace is to know freedom. To live in peace, that is an on going Quest in life that we hopefully strive for. But some who envy us, see it differently.

You know much more than others, what it means to kill other human beings and live to tell about it. Peace becomes so much sweeter after one has been through the insanity of war.
