To my good friend John Durnil, God love you.

News came about an old friend,

A guy I grew up with and played ball.

He was my age also, but young at heart.

Only 93 was he, who never drank or smoked.

A harder working guy you'll never meet, was he.

A square shooter, who you could trust.

He earned his way to heaven,

To join the Lord and his bride.

God knows how good this man was,

And greeted him with open arms.
