I have never felt alone As long as I can write. There is an audience I can't see but know they are there. Even so, writing keeps me loose. I just have to use my imagination And create a world of my own. I sometimes have to laugh at that. I doubt I will bore myself With my own thoughts. It does let me look at the futility Of being my only companion.

Poem about a typical writer. Yes, a writer with a pen is never alone. We can travel with our characters to any dimension, any time, and anywhere. Our lives are enriched in that manner.
