A really nice baseball and boxing analogy. You may me recall the time I was pitching my fastball to my father, and he told me that I was throwing a "natural" curveball. He was a real baseball fan and connoisseur. All I was interested in was firing that ball so fast that the hitter wouldn't have time to react and catch it in the sweet spot for a homerun.
But, whether I threw curveballs or not, like you, I sure have had to catch/avoid a lot of them in my life.
This book represents a thirty-day period of my poetry journal. Each poem addresses
the dominant thoughts occupying my mind during the early morning hours of a given
day.
