Some times I forget to write a poem

And believe me it comes back to haunt me.

A few simple versus to hopefully put a smile on your face

Or at least stir your thinking process a bit.

Look around you and see how many people are smiling.

I can bet you a dime. you won't see a one.

Sad, maybe we can correct that with our words

That move the heart and some how become entertaining.

Give it a try, as nothing will be lost and you may acclompllsh

More than you expect, We are not the wizard of Oz.

Nor will Judy come and take us for a walk on the yellow brick road,

Which you have see on your TV screen. Go ahead and take that walk.
