with the language of questioning.
How can I allow light to enter the places, dim and dark?
Let the beams shake my fears,
Tossing me in elation,
As I struggle to stand upright.
How can I allow solitude to take over me?
Let the solitude awaken in me,
the wonders of introspection,
So I pause in my trails to let a shudder
pass through my bones.
How can I allow an agony to shake my being?
Let the agony break me
till I meet myself eye to eye,
and learn to dance in a drunken ecstasy.
How can I remain centered at the clap of thunder?
Let the rumble turn
every unmet dream and desire,
into a search for the otherworldly gold.
Above all,
How can I remain human?
Let me not descend to the depths
Of savagery and inhumanity....
