Abstract Heart
The abstract heart in printed font
Lay on the page thin and taunt
Playing havoc with my thought
Two arrows then a dash, a dot.
There was no clue
Of what to do
As if I knew
About it too.
Maybe a mistake was made
The typing wrong, the error weighed
Heavily upon my swayed
And tired self, alone I laid
What did she mean
This abstract scene
With sentence lean
To read between?
Twas nothing after all I found
She spoke with clarity of sound
But an abstract heart that’s been around
The internet, her truth abounds.
