Distraction
The stars that led me home
Were scattered and the clouds
Striped the sky and stripped the sun
My thoughts were not alone.
Captivating, stimulating
Conversation we did have
The water still, your eyes that held
My interest in you well.
The moral compass it will tell
Nightly rituals too will pass
Stories told, the humor bent
True Seinfeld at it's best.
One distraction keeps repeating
One distinction makes me sing
One devotion drives me deeper
One dance, one spark...our meeting.
