Also a song.

 Moving Day

Twas barely morn

The dark was still

A distant dog

His bark at will

Awake at three on moving day

Once again I cannot stay

Spend more time to make my way.

Like normal folk

A slower pace

Settle down

Live in one place.

Awake at three on moving day

Once again I cannot stay

I know I must be on my way

The cat is mad

And rightly so

She’s had to move

Ten times ya know

Awake at three on moving day

Once again I cannot stay

Or bide my time to make my way

Wherever I decide to move

That is where the cat will fare

Live and eat and sit and stare

I know it is not fair.

I need to stop and question why

Of all the places I have tried

Why nothing seems to tame... my mind.

The final box

Is packed and so

I labeled it

For me to know

I’m now convinced

This simple plan

Will find my peace

I know it can.

Awake at three on moving day

Once again I cannot stay

The cat and I are on our way.

No time to play, we’re on our way.

Say Something Terrorible v3 by RickthePoetWarrior

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.
