The End

The end has now come

In time will be done

Memories of nothing

Just the fall of the sun.

The moon casting doubt

Will wane in and out

Reasonings tempered

No more will love shout.

Beyond the horizon

A world flat and wizened

Bearing truths from a message

On the cell phone Verizon.

I seek you no more

Nor will write you my lore

Those talents be saved

For a worthier chore.

I ‘spect not one call

After you said it all

The anger, and smugness

Misunderstanding...your fall.

I doubt I’ll be missed

So harshly dismissed

Not one shred of light

You just sounded pissed.
