I was a little girl when I met A Boy Named Sue. And was made eerie when you vocally painted a picture of a Ghost Rider In The Sky. And you flew far in a starship into the universe divine. You made up a part of a great group that traveled the highway and beyond. Your voice so distinctive coming over the radio airwaves and out through my radio speakers. A young man in his cleanest white shirt taking me for a Sunday morning stroll. Standing tall A Man In Black fending for the poor and beaten down. A man that has been everywhere and not held in a Rusty Cage. A man who sung about the end of time .You handed me down that golden ladder and that offered cup in which I chose to drink. Some are going to be born and some will die. and I will be filthy still. There was no tolerance for wicked women in your songs and songs of sadness. It simply amazed me on how you could piece a car together and go. You left your mark permanently in the Music Industry for generations to pass on and to enjoy. It's too bad that we cannot stay young and live forever . But you will live on in our hearts. You are Legend.
One great tribute to The Man Black. When I first saw him perform The Ring of Fire with that unique way he held his guitar, I was hooked on that gravelly voice full of passion and honesty.
